GET YOUR GREEN ON!

Matthew Buchanan, ND
Glass with green drink and cucumber on rim.

Fresh Green drinks are made from raw plants that are great sources of chlorophyll, minerals, nutrients, and enzymes. Green drinks are excellent detoxifiers and blood cleansers that help maintain alkalizing pH levels, aid in weight loss, fight fatigue, increase metabolism, and contribute to overall health.

A fresh green drink is a whole food solution to getting more nutrient-dense vegetables into your diet and helps the body’s natural metabolism by stimulating the colon to efficiently absorb nutrients naturally. Adding fresh green drinks to your diet will help curb the temptation to make poor dietary choices.

Green drink recipes are available in published books and can easily be found on the web. The green drink recipes used in this section are my wife Sandi’s personal recipes. She is an active wife, mother, and grandmother who still teaches fitness classes daily. She is medication free, healthy, and in excellent physical shape, an inspiration to anyone who meets her. She hosts a green drink challenge several times annually on her social network and frequently receives life changing testimonials from people who added a green drink to their daily nutrition.

The green drink is simple and inexpensive to make and the health benefits outweigh any excuse not to drink one daily. Grab your blender or juicer and get your green on!
