Lectro Chi water modules are skillfully manufactured in the USA with the highest quality materials available. We start with 8 ft. of double insulated copper conductive cable, add a 1/4" insulated commercial plug, and finish with 3 surgical stainless steel plates. The combination of copper conductive cable and the surgical stainless steel plates insures the steady flow of uncontaminated DC current.

The steady flow of uncontaminated DC current supports a stable ionization and electrolysis process. The ionization and electrolysis process is vital to the success of an ionic foot spa session. Electrolysis of water is accomplished by running a DC current through the surgical stainless steel plates. The stainless steel plates consist of a cathode and anode. The positive (+) current is conducted through the cathode and the neutral (-) current will be conducted through the anode. Hydrogen gas will be produced at the cathode and oxygen gas will be produced at the anode.

The Lectro Chi water module utilizes 3 surgical stainless steel plates. This was done for a multitude of reasons - one of which is to increase the hydrogen and oxygen gas potential. When the Lectro Chi Eco-Friendly Energy Ionic Foot Spa is set to the "Cleansing" mode; 2 of the plates act as cathodes and 1 plate acts as the anode. In this mode twice the amount of hydrogen gas will be produced as opposed to oxygen. Switching from "Cleansing" to the "Energy" setting will change the polarity of the water module allowing 2 plates to act as the anode and a single plate to act as the cathode. In this mode twice the amount of oxygen gas will be produced as opposed to hydrogen.

The Lectro Chi water module also includes 8 ft. of cable. The extra length was made available for safety and convenience. For safety, we recommend placing the Lectro Life Eco-Friendly Energy Ionic Foot Spa power unit on a level and stable surface.

NOTE: The Lectro Chi Water Module is compatible with all ionic foot spas utilizing a 1/4" commercial plug. If you currently own an ionic foot spa other than a Lectro Chi Eco-Friendly Energy Ionic Foot Spa - I would encourage you to use the Lectro Chi water module. We manufacture the best water module available and are confident that you will enjoy the quality, durability, and effectiveness associated with it.

What are the recycled cables used for? We use the recycled cables to build eco-friendly water modules. These are a less expensive alternative to our standard water module. The cables are tested, sterilized, and equipped with new surgical grade stainless steel plates. The manufacturing process is the same for the eco-friendly water modules as with the standard water modules. The only difference is the eco-friendly modules are manufactured with recycled cables.

What is the process for getting the discount?

Option 1: You can send in the cables prior to purchasing a water module. Your discount information is kept on file and the discount will be applied to your purchase. If purchasing online the discount will be applied to your credit card after the transaction clears.

Option 2: You can purchase a water module and the discount will be applied to your credit card when the cables arrive. Please insure that we receive the cables within 10 days of the purchase. Include your contact information so that the proper discount is applied to your purchase.
