| Hi Matthew
I just wanted to drop you an email and tell you about
your Lectro Chi Pro Energy machines resilience. I
stay in South Africa and we run on 220v current here,
little known to me the foot spa was designed to run
on 110v current.
I was so excited when I received my machine I had
my girlfriend Christine run it for me with the first
session, it was going perfectly for about 30 min until
a slight sizzling sound started a mild white smoke
came through the fan, didn’t think much of it
though.
Thought it was some oil burning off as the new machine
got run in, the smoke was the type that was similar
to when oil burns. It stopped smoking and sizzling
after I switched it off for a few minutes, and then
finished the session.
I had a session on it, a full 40 minutes with a small
smoke discharge at about the 30 min mark, just kept
going and it was fine after that. Gave three sessions
after that with clients and it didn’t play up
at all, then it started again.
I decided to open the box and see what was happening,
there was just a little bit oil spray in a few places,
couldn’t see where it was coming from, no leaks
or broken seals.
So I had a few more sessions with clients with no
problems, and another couple of sessions with me on
it.
Total of about 9 hours of work so far, and it started
playing up again, that’s when I emailed you
about the concerns with voltages and you informed
me what it was designed to operate on, I purchased
a transformer to down step the current to 110v and
it it’s working perfectly.
For a machine designed for 110v to run on double
current for a period of about 9 hours without completely
frying it is testament to the design and durability
of the components you use in your machines.
Thankyou.
